This month I continued conversations with Central Government regarding greater protections for the Scenic Railway and other Listed Assets.

I have formally requested not only greater protection within Listings, but also a requirement to provide evidence and full disclosure of challenges to the running of active Listed assets before any decision can be made to halt the use of a Listed asset.

Listed assets are public assets; private decisions should not determine their future.
